About Us
Just Screw It was founded by Elio Faria, a California native who has called the San Fernando Valley home for the past 20 years.
Before launching Just Screw It, Ltd full-time, Elio trained and worked professionally as a chef for 18 years, building his career around precision, problem-solving, attention to detail and making people happy, all skills that now carry directly into his work as a handyman.
But fixing, building and figuring things out has always been his first love. Long before Just Screw It existed, Elio was the kid taking his toys apart just to understand how they worked, then putting them back together again. He started doing odd jobs and handyman work on the side as a teenager, back in his hometown of Santa Maria on California's Central Coast, and continued taking on projects whenever he could throughout his career in food.
After years of balancing a full-time job with every repair, build and home project he could fit around it, Elio finally decided to bite the bullet and turn the thing that brings him the most joy into his full-time work.
A people person through and through, Elio takes real pride in making home repairs and improvements feel easier, friendlier and less stressful. For him, the best part of the job is simple: knowing he helped someone, solved a problem and left them feeling taken care of.
